QTSell organized its first community cleanup event in Cairo last weekend, bringing together users, employees, and local residents to help clean up Maadi district.
The event, part of QTSells new "Reuse, Recycle, Restore" initiative, aimed to promote environmental awareness and community engagement. Over 200 volunteers participated, collecting more than 500kg of waste, much of which was sorted for recycling.
"As a marketplace for used items, sustainability is at the core of our mission," said Fatima Ahmed, Community Relations Manager at QTSell. "This event is just the beginning of our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve."
The company provided all necessary cleaning supplies and refreshments for volunteers, and partnered with local recycling centers to ensure proper disposal of collected materials.
Following the success of this event, QTSell plans to organize similar cleanup initiatives in other cities, with the next event scheduled for Alexandria next month.
Those interested in participating in future events can sign up through the QTSell app or website.
